  • Is Madurodam fun for all ages?

    Yes, there are miniatures, activities and covered attractions for all ages. There are also two playgrounds: the Miffy playground is fun for the little ones and the Waddenzee playground is for older children.

    An average visit last around three hours. Of course you are also welcome to come for the whole day!

  • How do I reach Madurodam by car?

    From the city centre (A12, A4)
    Follow the signs for Madurodam to the slip road for the Hubertus viaduct. Drive right onto the viaduct here, stay right and take the first exit towards Madurodam. At the bottom of the exit, turn left (under the viaduct) and you will find the car park on your right.

    From Wassenaar/Amsterdam (A44/N44, A4)
    Head for Madurodam via the N14 towards Scheveningen, ending up on the Hubertus viaduct. Drive right onto the viaduct here, stay right and take the first exit towards Madurodam. At the bottom of the exit, turn left (under the viaduct) and you will find the car park on your right.

    There are various ways to get to Madurodam using public transport:

    • Via the station Den Haag Centraal on tram 9 towards Scheveningen Noorderstrand, getting off at the Madurodam stop
    • From the station Den Haag Hollands Spoor on tram 9 towards Scheveningen Noorderstrand, getting off at the Madurodam stop

    During the opening hours you can park in the Madurodam car park. This costs € 8.50.

Terms of purchase online ticket

  1. Online tickets (: e-ticket) from Madurodam are issued by our partner Global Ticket B.V. Following payment by the customer, Global Ticket B.V. is responsible for issuing an undamaged and scannable ticket.
  2. An e-ticket is provided with a unique barcode issued at random. The ticket is scanned at the entrance to the park. All tickets are valid for single use only. Reuse of the ticket is not permitted and also not possible. Madurodam will take legal action against any misuse.
  3. Each e-ticket is provided with an expiry date. After this date, right of entry expires. A ticket is not exchangeable for money and the validity cannot be extended or adjusted.
  4. The park rules apply to entry to Madurodam in all cases and Madurodam retains the right to deny access. Interpretation and implementation of the park rules is the responsibility of the employees of Madurodam.
  5. An e-ticket can be returned up to 14 days after receipt. Global Ticket B.V. will start an investigation into use of the e-ticket. If improper use has been made of the e-ticket, Global Ticket will charge the costs of this investigation. Delivery and any administration costs will not be refunded. If the return is legitimate, Global Ticket will refund the purchase price of the returned e-ticket(s) within a maximum of 30 days following receipt of the request.
  6. An e-ticket can be scanned both digitally and physically at the entrance to Madurodam. If you print the ticket, ensure that it remains legible and is not damaged so that it is no longer scannable. Madurodam cannot guarantee that a damaged ticket will be scannable. Damaged tickets can be rejected at the entrance.
  7. Sale and issue of tickets through the intermediary Global Ticket B.V. is subject to Madurodam’s general terms and conditions. You can request the general terms and conditions from Madurodam by email.
  8. Global Ticket B.V. retains the right to refuse an order without giving reasons for this. We will inform you of this by email.
  9. The purchaser (: you) is responsible for correct provision of the details required to make payments over the internet. Provision of incorrect or incomplete details may lead to an e-ticket not being sent.
  10. Global Ticket B.V. is responsible for sending of the tickets ordered by email. The delivery time for payment with iDEAL/credit card/paypal/Bancontact/Giropay is normally after a couple of minutes and a maximum of one day. If you have not received a ticket within this period, please contact our Customer Services.
